I got a new phone and decided to change my Google account and when I went to find my favorite apps in the Play Store they weren't there anymore: Analyze This Pro, Droidfish, Chessbase Online (at least that last one explained it was there but wasn't available to me because it is incompatible with the latest version of Android).
Are chess developers fleeing the Play Store, or something?
I believe it's due to some limitations Google created when it comes to engines. The apps can no longer load external binary engines as I understand it, so only apps that can include the engine code directly will work.
