What's the best iPhone chess clock app?

The app store has 8 chess clock apps, costing between $1-$3.

I don't mind paying, but I want to get the best one. Anyone know which that is?

i use 'chess clock' by merkmatics.  simple, clear and free.  includes the ability to add an increment.  a really good clock.

The best simple chess clock for Android  is  Chess Cloid by Fireworks.  The best simple chess clock for Iphone/Ipad  is  Game Timer by Thana!    I hope you find them very useful!

There are a lot more chess clock apps on the Appstore now but most of them have too many settings that make them unfriendly to the casual chess player. The easiest to use that I've used so far is 'Othman's Chess Clock' You just pop in the time and start the game. Simple as that. It's 99 cents but absolutely worth it if u r looking for an easy to use chess clock for blitzing.

It is best designed and the most usefull smartphone clock on the market.

The chess clock on chess.com is indeed only to be found in the (iphone) app. Looks pretty good, with adjustable time schemes and all. Will start using it next week. Thanks for the discussion so far, that helped a lot: I'd almost bought an old big one on ebay for too many bucks.

Are there any apps that allow time to be added or subtracted from a player's time during the game?

I recently got a new ipod and now i can't find the chess clock in the chess.com app settings. Its ios8. Anyone else have this problem?

They've made it a separate app for some reason.  Go to the app store and search for chess.com clock. It's still free

Why can't the programming be so easy on all digital clocks?

Why not add handicap in the app. Allowing to set different time on each player ?

would be great if the chess.com clock app (android) could set different times for black and white for handicap play

I agree with sahope. The handicap feature is the most requested with kids.
