whiteboard chess set?

I'd like to find inexpensive (<$20) flat magnetic chess pieces that could be used on an office whiteboard or refrigerator. The closest I've come is this ($669!):

Most magnetic sets are travel sets. Here's an aluminum magnetic set:

and stick a tape in the back.

How about something homegrown?  Whiteboard magnets themselves are cheap (check your local office supply store) -- you could easily glue on some images of the pieces and find some solution for the board itself (it could be as easy as drawing it on with a whiteboard marker.
