Hello and thank you in advance for any help/directional pointers.
At issue: I was gifted a beautiful wooden Rosewood/Boxwood set many years ago. One of the white rooks was destroyed (chewed up by a dog, entirely my mistake for leaving it accessible).
The set was presented in a wooden box as in the photographs below. I assume this is a Drueke set based on the box's interior lid but do not see any markings on either the box or pieces denoting model/set number.
Any thoughts on whether this is a Drueke set and, if so, which set number it is? The linked website above calls it the "Grandmaster" set and "Drueke 3.75" Rosewood Chess Pieces", Item# 820.40 (likely internal to that site) but I've found no similar references elsewhere from other vendors
Any recommended replacement piece sellers for a Boxwood rook, preferably authentic Drueke and matching my set? My rook is almost exactly 2" tall
I am also very interested in purchasing extra queens for my set. My queens (Rosewood/Boxwood, as in the attached photos) are approximately 3 3/8" tall
Hello and thank you in advance for any help/directional pointers.
Many thanks in advance!
