Where are you based? just want an idea on what time's work?
(FM) FIDE Master works with students for $15 an hour.

I’ll be sure to suggest you to some others, I personally can’t afford it but maybe others I know can

hello i have a question, how do i improve in chess? because ive been stuck at 1200 for so long, also how do u stop tilting? and lastly how did u become a chess master? sorry i cant afford your lessons because im 11 years old and dont really have alot of money.

Lel there is like a 200 elo difference @Moonwarrior_1 is that enough to um warrant someone be your coach...

Hey Charlie I got a few quick questions for ya about how you typically do your coaching. I am looking for a certain approach to my improvement. Can I add you to my friends list and message you directly?
Must people that play blitz and bullet never improve.
You have to work and you have to play strong players at long time controls.

Can a FM teach anything that can't be freely accessed with public resources?
What guarantee can a FM give that they won't teach bad habits or give bad information?
Is there any third party sources noting whether or not the FM is self aware of their own struggles / obstacles in chess and what is holding them back as a player?
What is to keep them from imparting the same mistakes to their would be students?
Really short post but deserves a complete resume or, realistically, a website if the would be teacher is serious about trying to do this job...
An chess coach can do something very valuable that a book cannot: identify your weaknesses. They're a titled player, so they can obviously give some good advice.

A FM is strong. I know not all strong players make good teachers but they can certainly point out what worked for them. Ratings aren't just given out for nothing. I'd definitely consider hiring Mr Galofre. I like the video lessons idea. I think he has videos here on this sites video lessons. Having a FM that can analyse ur games is a huge part of helping to improve our game.

Good advice compared to what? Many players run the risk of giving bad information / teaching bad habits or values. There is a huge range between titled players and it's not obvious that a FM is proficient themselves, let alone able to teach others. Teaching and playing chess are very different skills after all.
Good advice compared to someone of a lesser ability obviously

To get the FM title, you need 2300 FIDE elo.
even if they teach me bad habits, those bad habits got them to the master title.
therefore FM Coach > No Coach

Sure, but that goes for the would be client too. How are they supposed to know if a mere FM knows better?
A 'mere' FM?
Hi I am interested in working with students online for $15.
I am FM. I play sometimes here on chess.com other times on the internet chess club (chessclub.com) known as the ICC.
I have loads of books on PDF and PGN as well. It means I can recommend literature which you go through with your chessbase reader which is free for download at chessbase.com/support/downloads.
I also have a lot of content which I give my students, in addition to books, I have databases which are encyclopedias of positions in pgn/digital format.
This means your getting your Chess Phd in content in digital format from the encyclopedias and complimentary publishers.
I have about 14gigabytes of positions/commercial databases ready to share.
I also have chess videos.
Lastly, we can work for 2 hours at a time, where we do a lesson for the first hour and then play games for the second hour. I see you play here in chess.com and we talk about the games as they happen. 10 minutes games, what ever.
I can teach you your openings, middlegames, endgames. etc.
We can even read books together, where we go through the positions in the book on the lesson and in 10 lessons time we are done with a book. Simply by doing all the diagrams in the book.
I can sometimes record the lessons for us using camtasia, and then we save to mp4. a lighter extension to save on file size. I am speculative as to how valuable that could be. you could have your live chess lessons, and the recording of it. it might work. you could get to keep them
Let me know, I am all ears, and ready to help.
Thanks,
FM Charles Galofre.
