Why only one lesson per week?

On chess.com, you can only have one lesson per week if you’re not a diamond user. But what if I don’t wanna pay some subscription just to learn a game?? Why not at least one more lesson per week?

All new premium plans purchased after September 1st, 2022 include unlimited lessons.

Martin's answer is irrelevant to what OP asked. He isn't asking about the benefits or features of a premium plan. He clearly indicated that he isn't interested in paying for it, but he wants more free access.

I would like to agree with this, learning the game of chess shouldn't have a paywall. But sadly, some people are greedy enough to make people purchase it. I'm fine with the rest of the stuff that's currently behind a paywall to stay paywalled, but the lessons should be free. It's a bad marketing move on the devs/creators part because they can't get new people to join unless they either pay, or they are already good at chess
