Bronstein Strikes Back - Part 4, unintentional oversight?

So I did all 4 parts on Bronstein Strikes Back! series and the first 3 were pretty forgiving - if I got any moves wrong I still ended up with 100%. But in the 4th I played 3 different moves and the mentor kept saying "this is a good move and winning enough but try to find the one with forced mate". When I finally found it I only ended up on 27% and lost 11 points! Surely this has to be an oversight, I made similar "mistakes" in previous parts and still scored full points, why punish me for finding other wins?
