Chess Mentor Sequence

Sort:
JFK-Ramsey

Does anyone know the rationale behind the order of the Mentor courses when working under the sequential mode? I want to go through all the courses and chose which I want to bypass (this is why I don't want Adaptive mode). I want to be sure that by using the Sequential mode of study, I don't run into any lessons that presume something not already covered.

I sorted the courses sequentially and the ratings jump around quite a bit. Roots of Positional Understanding is rated 2067 and appears between a 1464 rated course and a 1679 rated course. This is what has led me to question the Sequential order, what does it mean.

I sent the Staff this question and, evidently, was not able to explain to them what I meant. Their answer was Chess Mentor is working as it should.

Anyone?   Thanks.

I realize that this is an old thread, but I thought it might help others. I just use the order of the courses on the official chess mentor site:

Thanks Psychofin. I'll try that. I was looking the same JFK-Ramsey.

I find it useful to order the courses by rating level and then just pick the ones I want to look at in the order they appear. You are not tied to doing the courses in any particular order, if you want some endgame courses just filter the list for 'Endgames' for example.
