Hello,
One of the things I have noticed is that there are many, MANY references to Opening Theory just about everywhere. Wikipedia has a whole wikibook devoted to opening theory. And the tactics trainer and daily puzzels here tend to focus on the endgame. But anything to do with the middle game is generally very vauge or based soley around specific tactics (like the trainers here). While these are incredibly helpful, and I learn something with every puzzle, I still feel lost when I get to the middle game. So maybe some videos on how to best use the tactics in actual games, and most importantly, how to recognize when the best time to use a particular tactic is.
Just my two cents as a beginner in this mad, mad world of chess.
Hello everyone!! I have created a youtube channel with over 200 videos. I am still creating videos but I am a little stuck and was wondering if you could help me. I want to create more videos about how to help beginners learn chess and get better. It has been a long time since I was a beginner so I do not know where to start. And don't say the beginning!! Like should I cover tactics, specific openings, middle game? What about the endgame and how advanced?
