Hello this is my first post as I just joined this site. I play a lot of chess on the 'Chess Time' app where my rating is 1630. I have no real theoretical or scholarly knowledge of the game just my own playing. I play above my rating class often and I feel I hold my own very well against opponents as high as 1900. That is until the endgame approaches. I haven't identified a single factor that sets me back but in general it seems to be the lack of intermediate goals in endgame situations that has me wasting moves and pieces.
Does anyone have any suggestions on approaches to endgames. Key factors, Do's and Dont's.
