please help

Anyone knows on what basis we get our ratings when we win a rated game?For eg.- when i win a 10 mins rated game i get only 7-9 rating points but when i lose a rated match....i loss 11-13 points....why does this happen?Please someone help me because i need to win lots of matches even for slight increment in my ratings....Thank u for reading this post...Please do rply...What should i do??

Your rating goes up or down depending upon the rating of your opponent. I don't know if this site uses Elo or Glicko or some other rating system, but I can say that it is established in a way such that your rating quite accurately pinpoints your skills. Don't worry about the rating, just focus on playing, your rating will increase with time :)

thank you for your reply spiritlancer.....but do i need to change my way of playing to gain more points??Because even after winning many matches my rating slightly increase....n if at that time i lose one match....then again i reach from where i started.....

I think that when you play higher rated players you win more points if you win than you do against a player at about your rating. I also think that in that scenario you would lose less points if you lost.
