Praise for Chess Mentor

OK, so I've been a Platinum member since last year, but used CM very very little in that 1st year. I was mostly into online games and tactics trainer. This year, after renewing, I decided to plunge in and use CM a great deal more.

Man, what I was missing!! I began at the beginning (though I am far from a beginner) and just started working through the courses and lessons. I've completed several hundred lessons so far, and though the early ones were obviously way too simple, the recent ones are giving me a little head-scratching time. There's simply no better way to spend some time with a cup of coffee or an afternoon cocktail than working through a bunch of CM lessons and really letting it sink in. So much better (for now) than tactics trainer, which is solving with a gun to your head.

BTW, though, since beginning CM, my tactics trainer rating has gone up 100 points. I don't think that's a coincidence.

Totally agree. I'm a new Platinum member and find CM to be very useful.
