Probably not. Opening theory is great, but if you're a 1400 player what is probably holding you back are issues (be it strategic understanding or tactics) from the early middle-game to the end, not simple opening problems.
Moreover, at that level, opening theory is of limited utility because if you don't vary from theory in the first 10 moves, your oponent likely will.

Since i have no mentor ( there isnt any) i bought a collection of a 100 roman lab videos. If i watch them and study correctly can i boost my rating from 1400 to 1550 in 6 months?
