0-0-0 against Kan wing attack

I am wondering if I can play a usual attacking setup against the sicilian with Be3 Qd2 and 0-0-0 against the Kan wing attack. It looks like normally Be3 is played instead and white aims for 0-0. This does not look that common from my research but I am not sure why.

a. well b4 is expected and I play the knight back as you said which is ok since the bishop doesnt have a great spot. But the knight can jump to f4 after f3 and g4 and 0-0-0.

b. e5 isnt a big deal since Nb3 is useful i believe

c. well Nce2 yes. it looks similar because its a common attacking setup against c5, which is why I am surprised it isnt really used against the Kann and I do not understand why since I have had succes with it thus far

well 0-0-0 is not common after Bd3, and since thats the main move I would not expects many games to have Bd3 and 0-0-0 early like this

thank you for the in depth response

No, I'd say that 8..Nbd7 encourages White to go with the K to the left because the move doesn't put any pressure on d4 spot.

@MichaelPorcelli

If you go 6.Be3 Qc7 7.Qd2 then 7..Nf6, 8.f3 Bb7 9.O-O-O b4 10.Nce2 d5 or even 10..e5 11.Nf5 d5 should be great for Black. It's all about e4 spot.

Of course, I might be wrong...after all, I'm just an IM :)

So the fight is over the e4 square, and Bd3 is used to support that, so I need to learn a new set up for facing this it looks like

That's my opinion...I might be wrong though.
