Hallo Evert,
I don't know in what match you played.
I am trying to get a view of that match, but I din't succeed in finding it.
Maybe you know a way to look in your match and give you an answer.

It might be that it would be helpful to look at Win with the London System by Sverre Johnsen & Vlatko Kovacevic (2005)

If you lost terribly, it's not the opening's fault. In fact, I wouldn't want to be on the black side of that at all, since I don't like the Benoni. White should just play d5 and then c4 from there. Why did you even begin with the London, if you don't know it. Why not just play 2.c4 or Nf3? The Nimzo-Indian, King's Indian, and Slav are very popular and succeful for a reason: aviod normal queen's gambit lines. Watch some youtube videos on the London and you'll be okay.

I played with white and lost terribly after:
1. d4 Nf6 2. Bf4 c5 3. e3
Which opening is this? How should I play this with white?
