If you are looking for a single volume, try "Starting out: 1d4!" by John Cox
Avrukh and Schandorff have excellent 2-volume sets.

Avrukh and Schandorff have excellent 2-volume sets.
Avrukh's repertoire books (1. d4 Vol. 1A The Catalan, Vol. 1B The Queen's Gambit, and Vol. 2 covering responses other than 1 ... d5) are extremely high quality books, but be warned that they are difficult for players under 2000 FIDE to make the best use of. As well, some may not enjoy Avrukh's style of chess, which is based on accumulating small advantages through positional play. The second volume is in the process of being split into two books as well.
Definitely, would try the Chessable book, it gives you a chance to try what you learn right away.

Roman Dzindzichashvili has a 4 part video course on 1.d4 in which he covers most of 1.d4 with basic middlegame plans like starting a minority attack...its also quite easy to learn and understand i would say...you can find it on youtube

I just checked that out. It looks great. There's also a short and sweet one on the London system that looks great
I can recommend Schandorff's aforementioned two-book set on d4, as well as John Watson's Strategic Chess Opening Repertoire for White. I've used lines from both.
I agree with Bramblyspam. I use both books. The Strategic Chess Opening Repertoire for White is much less theory-based, and typically leads to long, strategic games, while Schandorff's books contain a lot of theory and lead to very complex, sharp positions.

Of course it depends on your style, but I think Avrukh's Grandmaster Repertoire Series is a good series. Also, you must keep update your repertoire regularly, and play over a lot of typical games. Having some books is not enough.
Several White repertoire books suggested here...
