a gambit in the Slav Defense

I'm surprised me, a 1000 player's random idea has stirred this much attention. I was also thinking about how this would work in the semi-slav, having played e6 before b5, allowing the bishop to immediately come out when the knight had to pin itself. But that kind of leads to a disadvantageous position for black. The whole point of this gambit is to open up the queenside, allowing black's pieces to roam freely and attack.

i think you should play bf5 or bg4 first before playing e6 so the light bishop doesn't get stuck. maybe this could be like Benko gambit style with lots of pressure on the queenside? idk. maybe it just loses a pawn

White can play Qa4+. Immediate win for white.
Actually Qa4+ does not win on the spot for white, in fact black actually fully compensates for their lost pawn in that variation. Here is how black gets full compensation:

what about 7Ne4 and not 7e6
Ya probably not a great line.
Well Ne4 may not be the best line, though black may have some pressure down the b and c files

yeah honestly i wasn't expecting this gambit to be taken seriously at all, but Ne4 does look good. I'm surprised at how much it's being backed up

in before pfren says it's just a blunder

Well I don't think pfren is coming to this forum
I was playing around with the Chebanenko Slav, and tried to see what would happen if b5 was immediately pushed. It seems stupid, probably is pointless, but the idea of the open queenside piqued my interest.
