I'm 1860+ on l*chess and I can guarantee you I have NEVER faced the Grünfeld there, it's a Defense which is only suited for super GMs so I'd say it's not as important to study as QGD, Slav and QGA imo. It's very unlikely that you will face Peter Svidler or MVL while playing online so don't worry too much about what super GMs play against them, however I would suggest the Russian System as a very strong response.
It IS for you, so please bear with me.
As I'm moving from 1.e4 to 1.d4, I try to learn good answers to any Black response to 1.d4, now I'm in the Grunfeld ("Green Field"), I watched the Hanging Pawns series on it, the Russian var seems good. Then I thought - what do the greats play against Peter Svidler's Grunfeld? The games I was most impressed with:
---
Krammnik's "queens on the seventh" (inconceivable!):

---
Anand's stylish 0-0 is inded "oh-oh...":

The fact that he uses the same rook both on h1 and f1... priceless.
