I know the Karpov variation in Caro-Kann and the Berlin Defence can do that. Any other?

Some exchange variations...and the four knights game.

The Petroff and the Exchange Variation of the French don't have to be boring.

The open nature of both openings allows many possibilities.

I fail to see how the Four Knights Variation is boring...

It's a very exciting position.

Wow, so many great ideas. I am afraid to play e4 though. The idea of pushing my king's pawn frightens me a lot.

I am wondering which is more boring as white - the English or the King's Indian Attack?

Do you think Scandinavian with Qd6 is boring?

This argument is flawed.  At upper levels of any skill game you must always assume that the opponent knows exactly what you are doing.  It is at this point that each move should be quite clear to the opponent and as such they have multiple choices, but alas all of these choices benefit you.  Rather than relying on "tricks" it would be well worth your time to improve your reading out of problems rather than relying on tricks as if you have a deficit in your playing only resolved through luck rather than strategic play.

Yes, I realize. That's quite obvious.
