Against 1.d4 you could try the slav 1...d5 and then 2....c6. Later the bishop sometimes comes to f5 which is the same setup (reversed) as the London. Against 1.e4 you could think about the caro kann which also involves c6 and d5 and in some lines the bishop comes to f5.
Black opening-Playing style like London

i still use my, very basic ideas of developing in a classical slav, knowledge to form a lot of my decisions when i play black and it's not 1.e4
try it out

1. Caro-Kann (sounder, more theory) or
2. Scandinavian Defence with 3...Qa5, 3...Qd6, or 3...Qd8 (not quite as sound, simpler less theory)
Against 1.d4:
1. Slav (sounder, more theory) or
2. To-Hell-with-Black’s-b-pawn-and-Queenside-Weaknesses Defense, formerly named the Liberated Bishop Defence by GM Bezgodov, which was formerly named the Baltic Defence by Soltis, I think. (Simpler opening, less sound, less theory)
Hello chess players,
I currently play London System on white. I quite enjoy the game. But I have been searching for a black opening for a long time, without success. Could someone please suggest an opening for black that is similar to the London System playing style? (one for e4 and one for d4, please).
Thank You!
