There is a difference between a trap, and just bad chess. The example you have given is a trap. A trap entices the other player to make a move which seems to be good, (if you don't look real deep) usually offering material (bait). The trap shuts after the bait is taken. A good trap is one in which the trapper's play although inferior to main lines is playable and only marginally worse.
Contrast this with what many put forth as openings or traps which just bad chess. Laughably horrible moves by the opponent which give the new line an automatic advantage.
I don't have an favorite traps; I don't play them on purpose but they are a great learning tool.
