oh come on! it is like the grid reference on maps. search it on google, or similar. Maybe the 'learn' section on this web site. some useful bits:

k= king   Q= queen   R=rook    B=bishop     N=knight    no letter/ p  = pawn

also calamec I just notice you have played a live game, I think is too fast for you, if you are learning about the game. It would be better to do turn based like 3days a move. So you got time to think about your moves
