I've seen 9. Qe4 a lot. It keeps the pressure on the knight on d5 while defending the pawn from the knight. also it pins the e5 pawn to the king and builds more pressure after 10. d4
Continuation for White in the Fried Liver Attack?

9.Bb3 c6 to prevent the fork of the rook. 10. a3 Na6 11. Nxd5 cxd5 12 d4 .....
At least this is what I have played every now and than

You absolutely don't want to just freely trade pieces on d5 in the fried liver as white. You'll end up just a piece down if you go that route.

9 a3 is a very good move, recommended by Estrin in his book "The Two Knights Defence".

So I heard the computer on this site was very easy to beat using the Fried Liver attack, I decided to try it out. I can beat the computer every time on easy and sometimes on medium, but it has always beaten me on hard. so I decided to load up a game vs the hard computer and see if I could beat him using the FLA.
So heres what I did and where I got stumped
Thanks in advance!
