Does this move 3 knight sacrifice work?

4. ... g6 would avoid your mate scenario, but would give up a rook, turning the knight sac into a trade 3 points for 7.

It does work if you know what you are doing but it's rather complicated. For one thing black should play 6... d5 7. Bxd5+ Kg6 when you don't have Qf5.

It's certainly much simpler to play 3. d4 or 3. Bc4.

If white has a better position, it's not a refutation.
 

Hint: just bad players play 2.f6 ( exept they play 3.Qe7 but still, bad opening) When black plays 2.f6 he opens the d1 to h5 diagnal and the bishop is ready to go to c4 and put presure on f7. When black takes the knight he can no longer play g6 after Qh5. Yes, the sacrifice works.

After 9.) h4 why cant black just defend again with be7?
