Dutch Defence, 2. Nc3

Hi all. I recently watched a video on Youtube covering 2. Nc3 in the Dutch defence. I know that this is not the standard move, but the lines he covered in the video seem very promising for white. What do you guys think?

Do you agree with my analysis? Is there something I'm missing?

Well, the given line is very bad of course, so I was thinking: to make things look better, how about 5...Nh5?

Black is a little bit to helpful in that line, never the less, I think 2. Nc3 has some merit.

Agreed. 2. Nc3 is one of the standard anti-Dutch lines. Personally, I just avoid most fo the anti-Dutch lines by playing e6 before f5. You'd be amazed how many people try to play the Staunton Gambit against me, anyway.

First of all, black's move order in the diagram is incorrect, as 2...d5?! is premature, and allows white other options, like 3.Bf4. Black should play 2...Nf6 and after 3.Bg5, 3...d5 is the only good option, preventing e4. White usually takes here and black recaptures with the e-pawn, leading to an interesting game where both sides have chances. If white doesn't capture on f6 right away, like in the diagram, then black certainly shouldn't provoke white with 4...g6?!, but should head for a stonewall with 4...e6. This should be a good stonewall for black as white's c-pawn is blocked by his knight.
