Queen's Indian and Nimzo-Indian are both nice & tricky openings with good chances for both sides. That's why GMs use them both. However, you can soon find yourself somewhat puzzled, since both of them possess a pile of extensive theory, and the play is mostly positional. Some lines are analyzed up to the move thirty, do you really need that on ~1000 level? :) I would do more tactics & try the "greedy" QGA lines or Slav/Semi-Slav lines where your opponent can easily fall victim to one of the traps, or at least let you leave peacefully with the extra c4 pawn :)
Im tired of responding to d4 with d5 and I was deciding on wether I should learn the dzindzi indian or nimzo, which one has more you have to learn (I understand with nimzo you also have to learn queens indian), and which one of them harder to play? Any information on the two openings is appreciated
Thanks
