I would not play the From's Gambit unless you know the theory from black's perspective if white survives the opening. Otherwise, white can just roll through black's position. 1...d5 is quite practical while 1...e5 entails a lot of risk.
Personally, I play the From's Gambit.
I have no idea what to play against the Bird. What are some good lines?
