French Defence: Alekhine Chartard Attack

Hi everyone! Lately I've been scoring very badly in this line of the French Defence: The Alekhine's Chartard Attack. White just seems to get a very long lasting initiative! I was wondering what you guys think is the best way for black to proceed in this position?
If you cant find a satisfactory line against the alekhine/chatard attack try playing the McCutcheon variation , it scores better than the classical 4....Be7 .
