This forum shall be a collection of games I play using the French Defence opening. My opponents will range from low level players to high level players.

The purpose of why I made my forum is to collect my games, review them, learn from the mistakes I made, help others who might play similar lines, and hopefully improve. I hope you enjoy my games Lady's and Gentlemen. If you have any question, improvements, criticism, or comments on any of my games feel free to comment.

French Defence begins with 1.e4 e6

*Side note all my games range from 10-0 time control Blitz or 15-10 time control standard unless other wise noted on the game itself*

I'll follow this one.

Question: Can you add some comments to the first 10-12 moves. I am interested in the ideas behind the opening moves.....not in the complete game. Innocent

Watch, try to remember and practise. Very relaxed way of studying chess openings.

Yeah I never watched it. I will say though the French is a nice Defence Lately I found myself liking the Caro-Kann more. I just like developing my LSB out. However, You can get some nice wins with the French though thats for sure.
