I like using the fried liver attack but people always play Qe7 and I don’t know what to do after that. Is there a move that I’m missing?

You didn't lose because of the opening.  You lost because you gave away material.

4...Qe7??

U win f7, and black has to play Kd8. Almost winning at move 4. The problem is how to win a winning position here. Think about one thing : once u take f7, if black plays h6, your bishop will be in danger, so instead of Qf3, simply retreating your bishop, theatening fork on f7...
