What an attack! Thanks for sharing

10...exd4 is a serious mistake by black. Qf6 and if white doesn't attack properly they're down a piece.

11.Ne4 looks dubious. 11...Be7 and you lost the g4 square... hard position to play for black but looks playable and ok at first glance...not in the mood to analyze it rn.

Black can also play 7...Qf6  and frequently does so at lower levels... it follows with 8.Bxd5+ Be6  9.Bxc6 bxc6 10.Qxc6 ..... the bishop pair is not enough for compensation for black but there's plenty of ways white can go wrong, especially in shorter time controls

White also has to be prepared for 8...Ne7.

Not even going to go on to the mainline, traxler, or the fritz and ulvestad variations, but white has to be prepared for that as well... But yes, fried liver can be fun to play

Traxler counterattack

You're showing one variation where white chooses bad moves twice in a row and with proper play it is still a draw.

Best is 5.Bxf7+ or 5.d5

But even if white decides to play 5.Nxf7 - which is by no means double question mark, white is still a little better.

After 5...Bxf2 white can play Kf1 and is still better. But even if white goes wrong twice and after taking the f7 pawn with the knight decides to capture the bishop with Kxf2, with proper play it is still a draw if white starts playing best moves.

Although at that point black's position is much easier to play and it's easier for white to go wrong.

However, if white decides to play all the moves that black wants white to play, then it is a fun attacking position for black.

Also noting that 7.Ke3 is technically not a bad move. But in practical terms it is really hard to plau for white with an exposed king.

11.Ne4 is the best move
