Giuoco Piano for black against low rated players

Hello friends

I want to know is there any way to get an advantage for black or the best way to play against d3-Nc3-Be3 of white.Lower rated players mostly plays that against me

The recent game I have seen is

White has a slight pull from the opening first move. Unless he screws up, this type of treatment isn't entirely to be avoided.

The Guioco Piano is an interesting game. There are many other, more effective openings.

Can some one suggest some good plans for black against this lines

If you were a paid member, I would strongly recommend you to watch the whole Giuoco Piano series by GM Roman Dzindzichashvilli.

The d3/c3 is a major opening system played by grandmasters. There is no advantage for black there. Even worse there is a slight advantage for white altough it is less then in the Ruy Lopez and mostly theoretical. It leads to rich and complicated strategical battles.

Against Nc3 black has easy equality and can hope for more based on the Na5  nxb3 idea exchanging whites light squared bischop. Objectively equal but personaly i find blacks play easier.

There are many setups against the d3/c3 lines. I personaly play the setup with a6 / Ba7 (profylaxis against a future d4), d6, h6 and then prepare d5 depending on the white setup.

What about system which goes with Bb3,Nd2,Nf1 and Ng3 or g4 by white?

Play d5 or f5 and black might just end up mating white. That is how I win against lower rated players playing that

I found the games of Tartakower and Petrosian very instructive. Tartakower in particular played this way in a few games but Black can get some play in.

Play sicilian. Problem solved.

Sicilian has its own problem

Thanks a lot TitanCG but I think in the final position too white had a small plus

Yeah but I think this is just something Black has to deal with. Maybe you can try opposite side castling but I think White has to make some kind of mistake for Black to get some advantage.

All openings do.  The great thing about the Sicilian is the imbalanced positions and anti-Sicilians aren't too bad if you're prepared for them:

I play ...a6 first, before castling, inviting the pin on my kingside knight. Then h6, g5, and start a strong attack on their kingside. I got many nice wins against weaker opponents, and I feel this is a good way to play if you're feeling aggressive. It is of course risky for you too, so I probably wouldn't do it in a tournament against somebody higher rated.

1. e4e52. Nf3Nc63. Bc4 f5?! you won't beat a GM but then we won't anyway.  It will however wake your opponent up.  White has 5 moves here only one is actually good.  Just learn them well enough to get out of the openning.

Two things:

1) You can often aim to castle queenside in these quiet positions. Glenn Flear mentions this possibility in Starting Out: The Open Games. Once White has castled kingside before Black commits his king, an attack with ...g5-g4 can become very effective. h3 is a very weakening move in this instance after White castles kingside. Beginners often make the mistake of prematurely castling in these positions, which leaves them vulnerable to attack.

2) The Two Knight's Defense (3...Nf6) is very dynamic and excellent for creating imbalanced positions with active play for Black. This is also another possibility to consider.
