how not to play the scandinavian/center counter

here is an example of a line that i think should be avoided. I realize that the quality of play is very poor some comments of that nature are unwarranted. The result of the opening is a very comfortable position for white.

The idea may have been to exchange queens early and throw white of his game, but this does not seem to be a good way to play scandinavian.
