I started messing with the position, and this Najdorf setup has actually been played! Kasparov himself tried it against Deep Blue, and Grischuk tried it twice against Caruana. It's not top tier, but you should get a dynamic position and maybe a good natured chuckle from the opponent
I've heard that it is possible to play the English Opening aggressively (and that it was considered that the opening itself is), but I'm not sure where to look.
My games from a long time ago have proven that it is possible to get active and/or tactical positions (I still remember my positionally sacrificed knight!), but the problem is, I don't remember what I played back then + I probably played on a different level with different people.
Perhaps you do know the answer to that? It would really spice up the playing experience (without playing the Bongcloud) and let the game be enjoyed without falling into theory.
