Being an attacking player, I tried to play the fried liver attack, but I quickly got pushed back when black played N a5. Any ideas on how to keep this attack going??

5...Nxd5 is actually a mistake because it gives White way too much of an initiative.

Really? In that case please correct and update this article by NM Dan Heisman

This is from the blog article (in red)

9. Nh7 Nb4 10. cxb4 Bxb4+ 11. Nc3 Bf5 12. O-O Bxh7 13. Bxh7 Rxh7 14. Qd3 g6 15. Re1 Black should hold with 15...c6 or 15...Kf8 - Dan Heisman

Look at the formatting stuff under "post your reply" and click on the capital A after the Italics icon and before the "Font Size" box

I'm outta the loop here - where exactly are the notations that are changing colors as you mouse over them? I haven't seen this so far here or anyplace else at chess.com

On post #8 the notation flashes when you mouse over it.

Yep. I get the same effect. Cool!

yeah I have to agree with you there mhchess. The set of moves posted by dchurchill (6. Bb5+ c6 7. dxc6 bxc6 8. Be2) ends up with white's bishop way back at the start, and then black can push the knight back as well with pawn to h6. Or am I missing something?
