How to play the Najdorf sicilian?

"Generally speaking, 'Starting Out' and 'Sicilian Najdorf' are not exactly words that one envisions in the same title, because anyone who is just starting out should not dive into the vast ocean of theory that is the Najdorf. For beginners, the time invested in studying even minor lines can be more productively used solving tactical puzzles and basic endgame technique.

... In some lines, a good understanding of basic principles will take you far, while in others, such as the Poisoned Pawn (6 Bg5 e6 7 f4 Qb6!?), memorization is a must, as one wrong move can cost you the game in the blink of an eye. ..." - FM Carsten Hansen (2006)

Indeed. Super cool that you want to learn the Najdorf! I could give some key pointers, lines, advice and the like...BUT! Without looking at your rating (which I did anyway-heh) I would ultimately sayeth to ye: please don't ever ever say you want to learn the Najdorf without at least going over Master games of the past and current exponents. You have to have at least (IMO) some affinity for the Sicilian defense as a whole. Indeed 2, many concepts of the 2. ... d6 Sicilians overlap one another (ie the Classical , Scheveningen, even the Dragon).

Plus, most times you will first have to contend with the "anti-sicilian" stuff first. It will be rare to actually play the Najdorf. I'm not trying to dissuade you, not at all. Just in a practical sense, I'm saying is to play over games from any database or material you can. Play against your fav engine (setting it up of course to just play Najdorf lines) things like that... Best wishes
Why do you want to play the Najdorf? It's an opening that is not recommended for people below 2400 or thereabouts, so you'll need a specific reason to play it. Sicilian lines with e6 are supposed to be easier, for example the Kan Sicilian or the Taimanov Sicilian
