How to play the Sicilian Najdorf-Scheveningen variation

Hello Everyone,

I simply had a question on how to play the Najdorf variation that is called the scheveningen attack variation. If anyone has any experience in this line, not the classical najdorf, posting here on as to, for example, where the pieces are typically placed or where the pieces maneuver to, would be great.

Thanks

I guess that is true. But if after Bg5, e6 is the mainline. So, even if a scheveningen pawn structure arises, it is still a variation fo the sicilian.

Does anyone know any instructive games of as to how to play this variation?

Thanks, but aren't there some lines where the knight goes from d7 to c5 to pressure e4?

the najdorf has Nbd7 then to c5. and a6 then b5 witch allows Bb7 for more pressure on e4 now normally najdorf plays e5 but bobby fischer usually played e6 transposing to the scheveningen.

everyman books has a book on just this topic. Very informative but instead of a6 I'm trying out e5 and seems more fun.

what about 6.Bb5+ Bd7 7.Bxd7 Nxd7 8.Nf5 or 6...Nd7 7.Nf5 and the knight would be hard to dislodge.
