Immortal Games

This forum shall be a collection of my Immortal Games. In honor of these games I will label them with a Title. My opponents will range from low level players to high level players.

The purpose of why I made my forum is to collect my games, review them, learn from the mistakes I made, help others who might play similar lines, and hopefully improve. I hope you enjoy my games Lady's and Gentlemen. If you have any question, improvements, criticism, or comments on any of my games feel free to comment.

Background information:

The game I am going to show you is one of my Immortal Games mainly due to my opponent. The strange thing was I honestly didn't play of best quality. In truth I tryed to play a different opening for fun which was suggested by a friend of mine. However, I simply didn't know how to play the opening very well which lead me to a terrible position. However, my opponent in his ambition to attack and defeat me got over aggressive. Which allowed me to make a come back.

What is even more strange is after I made a come back my opponent decided it was his duty to rage at me. He did so by calling me a multitude of names and than he began calling me an engine user. He than stopped moving in the game and waited till his time ran out as a public service according to him. The baffling think about all of this is I played a terrible game which after you see it. You will realize him calling me an engine user is rather ridiculous. Nevertheless this game has been giving the honor of one of my Immortal's.

The name of this game shall be known as:

After my last move (Qxf3) my opponent began to say the below. I did respond to him and He just continued on.

Loreck: Looks like another low life loser using an engine you do know its possible to detect engines pretty trivially

X_PLAYER_J_X: Not using an engine you gave me a free piece

Loreck: I was measuring your responses

X_PLAYER_J_X: well you measured wrongly

X_PLAYER_J_X: I moved my queen 3 times in the opening engine would never do that

Loreck: You have a 6.1 move to move ratio ken regan says anything above a 3.3 which gms play on are using an engine

X_PLAYER_J_X: I played this opening bad but its funny you think I cheated

Loreck: I take it a bit more seriously and up that range to 5 and add behavioral tendencies like using the same amount of time

Loreck: For roughly each move you got caught

X_PLAYER_J_X: This game is going on forums we will see what the chess community says about this

Loreck: Feel free chess.com is t the community

Loreck: It's just just a haven for cheating losers that are delusional

Loreck: You know they get ad revenue for each new account, if they really wanted to stop cheating on this site they'd do what icc does

X_PLAYER_J_X: Yes I would be because I'm playing bad moves. The problem is your playing worse move's

X_PLAYER_J_X: And your letting your timer run out

Loreck: Yea that's why your move to move ratios above gm level right

Loreck: Big woop

X_PLAYER_J_X: You let your timer run out on purpose becuase of your bad play

Loreck: Their fair play policy implementation wasn't thought through

Loreck: No I let my timer run so a cheater wouldn't immediately victimize another person

Loreck: There's a difference

X_PLAYER_J_X: I moved my queen 3 times in the opening

X_PLAYER_J_X: and you could of won the exchange and I'm victimzing people?

Loreck: If chess.com doesn't take the steps they need to its left in each individual users hands with the options they have available

After this point I stopped commenting to him because it was obvious he was raging out of frustration. I also stopped saving his text becuase the words he said were not PG-13. The below is an image showing him letting his timer run out. I will admit I have had some angry chess players before. However, this guy was in a league of his own. You will get the occasional rager but this guy was not like any occasional rager. He was overly committed. He wrote a book of insult. He posted on home page walls. I was dealing with a dedicated rager highly seasoned.

Which is why this game is an:

An angry chess player can:

• Run out there time again you
  
• Try to insult you
• Disconnect against you
• Try to annoy you

They can try and do all of these things but just remember they can never take away your Happy Disposition, your wonderful Smile, your Enjoy and Happiness.

The only way they can take those away is if you allow them to.

DO NOT ALLOW THEM TOO!

My opponent in this game tryed alot of things to get the better of me through insults and running his time out. Notice how through all his effort. He never succeeded. I never exploded on him. I talked to him friendly non-aggressive or angry. I was happy and joyful. Even now I creating this forum in honor of it being one of my Immortal's becuase I am proud on how I handled myself in this game.

I could of created this forum like other chess forums which show people who are upset, frustrated, and sad about people who rage or people who run their time out but I didn't! Do you want to know why? Because my opponent will not steal my happiness. I will not focus on the bitter and neither should you.

The way to stop these angry raging players is not by complaints against them. It is by love. What my opponent needs is hugs and kisses thats right.

So what I will say in conclusion is:

Even though I do not know you my opponent. Even though I have never seen you. Even though I have never meet you. I just want you to know, I Forgive You XOXO. Thank you for a wonderful game.

Background information:

The game I am going to show you is one of my Immortal Games mainly due to my wicked pawn storm. The line I played is a very common line that is part of my repertoire (KIA).I reguarly play this line;however, previously to playing this game. I was given a suggestion of an alternative variation that can be played in the line I use. I was given some suggestion of this move in a forum post I read. Which you can go and observe by clicking Here. In that forum their was several discussion's of possible moves and lines that can be played. I happen to hear about a queen move which can be played in the line I play. In truth I have never tryed this move before (3.Qe2) so this was my first time experimenting with this move. To my amazement the game became an instant classic. In honor of this games wonderful features and wicked pawn storm. I decided to award it as one of my Immortal's.

That was no cheat.. in fact black was crushing white.. black blundered again and again and he just have to accept his defeat.. player is a good guy.. this type of mentality can harm him in future.. missing mate in 3 .. good game player..

what does 6.1 move ratio with GMs even mean? It cant be 1 GM move per 6 moves, because then 3.1 would be much stronger.

I especially loved when he wrote 'Kg2 is the best computer engine move' while that's simply the better of the two possible that doesn't lose immediately, even I can see that.

I have no idea what my opponent was talking about with those numbers 6.1 or 3.1 or 3.3. It makes no sense to me. Frankly I wasn't doing that great in the game. I believe many would agree.

I like to think of it as an immortal game seeing as though I could of resigned and I didn't despite knowing I was in a losing position. My opponent did in fact have alot of killer blows.

The games I am going to show you are part of my Immortal Games mainly due to my opponent. The strange thing was everything started off normal. Out of no where my opponent got himself into a bad position. He than snapped and began raging at me. However, I will be honest, I am a seasoned chess.com player so I am accustom to dealing with ragers. In fact, I have had an Immortal rager game before so I'm not new to dealing with this. The reason the below games, I am going to show you are considered part of my Immortal Games collection is becuase I was not expecting what my opponent did after his raging.

I honestly got caught by complete surprise. I have never had anyone do that to me before. Which I thought was odd. However, It sure did earn him a spot in my Immortal Games collection.

What my opponent did was he began to send me rematches. When I mean send rematches what I mean is he would send one than decline it or abort it than send another one over a dozen times.

I just want you to know my stance on rematches. I am the type of person who doesn't mind/care. I know some people don't like giving their opponents rematches becuase it may inflate their ego or they believe their opponent is looking for a revenge match etc.

My stance is "Hey if you want a revenge match or your ego inflated than bring it on Pal". I beat you before I'll beat you again. I'll play you till you quit. I don't care. If your upset good maybe you will play better in the second rematch game. You better play better otherwise you will lose again.

So that is my stance on rematches. So I won the first game than my opponent started sending me dozens of challenges. I accepted them. I believe he was shocked that I accepted them. Maybe he thought I was the type of person to just ignore them or run to the next game. Well maybe he was shocked that I didn't go to the next game. In fact, I did send him a return match as well.

In the begin he sent me about 8 rematch games. I accepted them and he aborted them than on like the 9th request. He must of got upset because he ended up playing that game lol. So I played him twice in total.

After the second game he send me a few more requests and I accepted those too. However, I believe he learned pretty fast that I wasn't scared of him or backing down. So after a few more rematches maybe about 4 or 5. He must of figured to go to someone esle. His rematch request stopped and he didn't bother me any more.

Which is really sad Lady's and Gentlemen. It happen so fast I didn't even get a chance to send him a friend request. Poor chess player probably needed a hugg or something. So that is kind of sad when your opponents rushes away like that. However, At least we can share in the beauty that was left which was the 2 games played.

So after my queen took his bishop my opponent than began to rant and let his timer run out which I have screen shotted so you can see it.

I will also be substituting some of his words. Which I'll show in blue text. The reason why is becuase I don't feel like writing his negative words.

Now if you notice my alerts you can see. That it seem as if he is normal just another rager of sorts. However, In the next picture you will see how He sent me multiple request and I accepted them. I will show you the Second game first though. because I took the second Screen shot after the second game.

So after he made those few moves he stopped moving. Which I didn't care if he wanted to let his timer run out again or not. I than proceeded to tell him the below:

After I told him that I went to the bathroom took a fast bathroom break. Its a good thing he stopped move I might of made a mess on myself Ha Ha. I than got myself a refilled drink. Than I looked over some of my moves in the game. Which seemed interesting. I do wonder about that a3 move. Seems like such a quiet little move. Probably not the best move. However, It did seem interesting.

I than took the screen shot below after my opponents timer ran out.

Now the above image was after the Second game. However if you look at the alerts you can see how I accepted his challenges. I also send him a challenge of my own which you can see. I didn't scroll up though all of the challenges he sent me but you can see he sent me some.

I first thought he was aborting the games becuase of connection issues. So I sent him one of my own rematch request. Which you can see their as well. However, after he accepted it he aborted that one as well. Which than I knew he was just doing it as sport.

However, if you notice the game chat you can see how I was confused because he reconnected and disconnected alot in the game as well. The next screen shot was his response to me telling him good game.

Than after all of that and his rematching/aborting habits. He went on his way like a bird. It very odd thats for sure.

Great post, haha. I hate dealing with people like that. I'm not quite as nice about it as you, but I often do say good game to them. It's probably stupid but I also like to leave the chat with the comment "Have a nice life" when dealing with people like this, but I really shouldn't
