Are you talking about the kings indian? Yeah, it is pretty cool. You really need to be able to play against it as white if you play d4 or you will get into a bad position really quickly and black will whip up nice attack. If you are talking about any opening that starts out as; 1. d4 nf6, then yeah, thats how I always play against d4. I don't like playing queen's gambit much. I've been playing nimzo indian but I might switch to king's indian because I think it has more possibilities and my luck in the nimzo has not been that great.
i think that is one of the great opennings because it give more freedom to get the lower line to be free for roocking
