I think something like 3.f3 or 4.f3 is better, I dont think Qc2 is best.
I remember avrukh recommending f3 against 1..b6 (maybe 2..b6??) in his 1.d4 series, and i always got very good positions.

4.f3 is a nice idea. The bad side of it, is after e4, white already wasted two pawn moves, while black developed at least one piece (probably the knight on b1) and black increases mobility a little bit, and has the lead in development.

thats true, but thhe two moves black used to get his c8 bishop into the game, b6 and Bb7 hav now been rendered weak by the blunting f3-e4.

yea i guess you're right. Black can maybe get away with e6, and after d5 takes takesmaybe c6, but then black loses all the tempo back, and white is the side who is better developed. Any why, Maybe black can close the position even more with e5, and then play with the knights, and maybe bring the bishop to a6 later on.
As you know, the hypermodern theory's idea is to Deliver your pieces to their best place in the shortest time. Another idea, is to develop while the other side play many pawn moves to get a strong center, and then just ruin the other side center with different pawn breaks, and get it yourself. Anyway, i thought of and idea in the indian defense:
This move as i thought should lead to double fianchetto, and lead to some good pawn breaks and centrilized pieces.
I found out this opening exists and called the accelerated variation. This actually does quite a bit by preventing white's d4 to d5 advance and such ideas, with the e6 break. Anyway, if white plays correct in my opinion, this would be the ending situation:
Anyway, white should be really careful, because if he doesn't play correct in this opening black can take advantage easilly.
For the dessert, black should be careful also, because if he doesn't bad things can happen:
Then what do you say, should black play this?
