Is Colle any good?

I try and play 1. d4 once a correspondence tournament. In my last event I  did the following (as recommended in Zuke-em) 1, d4 Nf6 2 Nf3 g6 3 e3 c5 4 dxc5 Qa5+ 5 Nc3 Qxc5 6. e4 and after 14 moves the game was effectively over. The Colle system can be a dangerous system if played correctly by White and Black also has to be careful as White's position can suddenly become quite threatening.

philtheforce the colle is a versile system the origanal variation gives you massive central control the other zuckertort line is dynamic and flexibale there is a good video by arron summerscale worth watching and it is played at very high levels isle of mann hastings british open to name a few keep it up suprizes youre self
