Is the London System for the attacking player or for the solid one?

The London system is a reliable and solid opening. I think there are 2 ways of playing it: go for a kingside attack or play it more positionally. Which style do you prefer?

No more ideas?

After seeing Simon Williams' London System videos, I would say it can get extremely interesting. However, it isn't in my nature to be such an aggressive player so, when I do play the London, I never reach those types of positions and never get to implement the exciting attacking ideas. It's a very flexible opening so there's definitely something in it for everyone, though.

Yes, I also watched Simon's DVD and I already played some attacking games, but I also enjoy a calmer game.
