Is the Spanish Breyer variation better than the Spanish Chigorin variation?

Which one should I play? My impression is that white is better in the Chigorin. Should I play the Breyer instead, or is that just as bad? Or should I play the Berlin Wall, in which black actually equalizes?

Probably the Breyer is practically best. It's solid, you solve the bad queen's knight problem, and gives Black chances to play for a win.

It is not better.  It is simply different.

There is no best system.

Chigorin has a problem, the Na5 which can be a bad piece, while there is no bad piece in Breyer.

Personnally I play the Chigorin and I teach it because it is very instructive.

But Breyer will probably give you more freedom and a easier life.

Just a matter of taste.

I believe GM Kaufman recommends the Breyer in his Opening Book.

no opening is "better" than other lines, it just depends on ur style.I play the breyer since its solid and offers good play on the queenside. However, it does not matter, each opening has its own pros and cons.U should just play what u like IMO
