I'm an amateur at chess and I'll admit I'm pretty bad, but what does anyone think of this opening? I know he was just as bad as me also, and didn't have good counter moves to my opening, but any opinions would be appreciated.
Is this opening decent?

birds opening is good. not in the "main 4" first moves, but I like it as the best of the rest. but playing it like that might not be the way to go. also your opponent shouldnt play that way. heres a line

it starts out as a Larsen, but after 11.f4 its a very common bird formation.. the b1 knight coming to d2 (much more natural square in the bird) and the other knight has already leaped to e5. a great game by Fischer
