A while ago, I made this video on YouTube explaining how to play the Italian Game, and I think it is pretty informative and could help some people here. If anyone could watch it and give me some feedback or let me know if it helped them, that would be great! :D (also I got permission from a moderator to share my video here.)

I watched the video.

It was difficult for me to watch.

—————————

My feedback is stop putting yourself down.

You are a remarkable person!

————————

I tried watching your video and it made me angry.

I was watching your video and you kept talking bad about yourself.

Don’t you realize how special you are?

You are truly gifted.

————————

Some people don’t even know how to operate a computer and you managed to make an entire chess video.

Some people play chess for 50 years and never reach 1,400.

They have money, they own business, and they have family and despite all those things they can’t reach 1,400.

——————————

You are 1,700. You are on the verge of becoming an Advanced chess players.

You make chess videos which many people can’t do.

You are an inspiration!

Don’t put yourself down my friend.

Be proud of yourself!

——————————

I have played chess for 20+ years.

When I started playing chess, People recommended for me to play the Italian Game.

I was ranked as low as 500. Can you believe that?

I was just a little guy trying to learn chess.

I climbed from 500 to as high as 2100 on different chess sites.

I played the Italian Game a lot in my career. I still do!

The lines I played are completely different vs. lines you talking about in your video.

And Guess What? I found it fascinating!

Even though I have played the line for 20+ years. Their are still different ways to play the Italian Game which I had never even thought about or considered.

Have you ever heard of the Bird Attack Variation? That’s line I loved to play.

You didn’t talk about it which is okay because I thought it was very interesting seeing and hearing how you like to play the Italian Game.

Remember, we play chess because it’s fun.

It makes us happy.

When you make your video, You should keep same thing in mind.

Only do it if it makes you happy.

That was definitely a very instructive video. You gave good explanations to the moves and responses, so no complaints. I do have to agree with the other response a little, while I appreciate the humor, the digs on yourself in the end didn’t need to be there. You did great on the video

Thanks for the feedback! Do you think I should have included more move suggestions for each position? I thought just giving the best move for each of the opponent's response would be enough. Also when I made fun of myself, I intended it as a joke and thought it would be easy to recognize but now I realize it may have come across poorly. I'll definitely be more careful about making those kinds of jokes if I ever decide to make more chess videos.

Yeah I meant the humor at myself at the end as a joke but it definitely didn't seem like it, I'll be more careful about making those kinds of jokes in the future. Did you learn anything from the video? :D

I think you did fine on move suggestions.

If you want to add more, you could.

The only downside I would say is to be careful when you say or add moves which you don’t know because people might call you out in comments section.
