h4 maybe worth looking at
King's Gambit Bishop attack
i know this! you play the king bishop out to attack the black bishop pawn and then play the king to the bishop square when black checks you...
Actuallt it seems like Bc4 works out Fine as well. Here are the list of OK moves.
Bc4 works as well as Nc3. Alekhine played an interesting game using h4 which he won. May want to check that out

Yes, what's wrong with 4. Bc4 Bh4+ 5. Kf1? That looks fine for White, to me.

This is how I played not being able to see h4 or any of your comments listed. I ended up winning because of my well developed pieces, and because he blundered...

What I was thinking was that If I played Kf1 it would be a easy target and unprotected. That's probably why I played g3 instead

In that position, it's the Black Bishop on h4 that's exposed... not the White King on f1.
With the Bishop sitting on h4, Black can't play Nf6 (because it loses the piece on h4), and he also can't play g7-g5 which is otherwise a pretty common idea for Black.
In fact, the Bishop sitting on h4 is a major pain in the neck for Black, while the White King on f1 looks perfectly safe.
How can you respond to this opening? I realize it's only temporarily good as it will be trouble for development but this is threatning a pain in the ass trick to prevent castling.
