I made this counter attack against king's gambit (which im still testing) and i want to get the opinion of others on it. Here's what i have so far:

I don't understand. Opening Explorer gives the standard move as 4Nf3, and does not list any games with 4Qe2. Maybe you can beat 4Qe2, but you need for white to play it.

That's some ingenious analysis. Nice one. [Cards on the table here: I'm a King's Gambit enthusiast, but I know a good independent thinker when I see one]. Three initial thoughts...

1) The name

Is that perchance your real-life surname? I have only encountered the name, "Borabo" once before; in the role-playing game "Runequest" (in which a spirit by the name of "Borabo Nightmare" punishes offenders within the cult of Waha) and I'd be surprised [in a good way] to discover that you were inspired by the idea of reprisal against [opening principles] transgression.

2) By analogy

Were you perchance inspired by the Oxford Variation of the Vienna Game

but without Nc3 and ..., Nc6 White lacks Nb5 - xc7+ counterplay?

3) Actual Analysis

The following is the KG player's staple. You will need some line against this (White has an endgame pull in this line)...

1. Yes it is my surname. I saw how people like alekhine and petrov used their surname so i thought id use mine.
2. No, I was inspired by chigorin defense cuz i am a big queen's gambit user
3. Like i said on my main it is unfortunately probably an official opening called King's Gambit Declined: Petrov's Defense

RalphHayward

I see. Inspiration from the QG Chigorin is a route I'd not thought of. Logical, though. Thank you for sharing.
