There is yes. If you're using it in Chessbase or any of the playing engines (Fritz, Houdini etc) that's just one of the standard filters.

Chessbase can name their products however they like. Mega database comes with annotated games while big database doesn't.

'mega' is the prefix for 'million'. The chessbase product has several million games in it. Thus, mega database.

That's in scientific language mostly, for other uses: great, large, vast, big, high, tall; mighty, important.
In the mega database, is there a way to filter games by the year they were played? Like lets say I just want to see what was played between 2010 and 2013 in a paticular position. How would I do that?
