Modern Benoni- Four Pawn Attack

Ahh I see thank you! I'll have to look into that book. I appreciate the suggestion it I hadn't been able to find any good books on it.
Yeah talhal Benoni is my favorite white opening after English Symmetry or English transposition to Kings Indian Defense. Its also my favorite defense against d4 against English(1. c4) I prefer Benko(1...g6 2. d4 Bg7)

can you like explain ive only been playing for 5 months now lol but ive known how to play for a while but never had anyone to play with until i joind the chess club my teacher says i can take the president
and i want to learn as much as posible
I have two problems with the 4 pawns Taimanov (Flick Knife) attack against the Benoni.
- In order to be able to play the Taimanov you must play 3. Nc3 allowing the Nimzo Indian defence an opening many white players rather avoid.
- Though the Taimanov probably leads to an advantage for white it is very very very complex and will lead to sharp tactical battles where both sides have a good chance to win. There really is a lot of theory and making 1 wrong move is almost instant loss for either side.
I like the modern system against the Benoni (with Bd3 and h3) a lot better. It gives white a small but stable advantage and gives black very little chances for counterplay. Even in the best black setup white has the pleasant choice between an endgame where only he can play for a win (but is probably a draw by good play from black) or a more complex variation where his chances are to be prefered as well (but black does have counter play)
Still if you know your opponent will play Benoni and you like weird unblanced positions the Taimanov is a nice opening :)

well any opening is good, if you plat it well. I am a KID player, and am personally thrilled to see a 4 pawns attack.

You really expect us to believe an 1100 player beat Fritz?
On Christmas Day 2007. Perhaps a gift from Fritz?

The 4 pawns is a joke and White needs to be careful not to go to greedland if he wants to survive.
why?

The analysis with all variations appears in Bronstein's book which I red long ago and I still remember it is busted.
11...Nxe5! 12.Nxc7? Nxf3+ 13.gxf3 Qe5!
Depending on which side you want try to find the win for Black or prove something for White.
Modern Benoni Four Pawns Attack is a brutal aggressive opening by white. This aggressive early assault is used to gain space then tear through blacks defenses. White hopes to pull off a powerful attack before black can stablize or counter attack. Like all Benoni Openings it leads to very tatical games . White especially must be careful not to allow black to pull off any tactical attacks as white creates defensive weakeness. Black likewise must be weary of sacrifices and tactical strikes white threatens due to whites aggressive formation. White must be certain therefore to gain a winning advantage before black can take initiative.
Here's an example of a tactical game vs Fritz 10 sparring (hard setting). I won after Fritz as per its programming made an inaccuracy allowing me to get a winning advantage through a combination forcing a pawn premotion. After that well it was trivial.
Anyone else have any good advice on playing modern benoni 4 pawns attack or just benoni in general. Any good games or theories about the attack should be played after leaving book. Plans of action as black or white? Any thoughts or comments are appreciated
