Keep the Sniper in mind:
Though you're most likely to run into KID like positions with the important difference (that's favorable to white IMO compared to actual KIDs as white has a pawn on e4 and the prospect of e5! from white makes it a little more dangerous together with a thematic ...f5 from black being less likely due to e4) of the pawn being on e4 instead of c4. If you have the time and inclination study the Austrian Attack, other wise Nf3 or Bg5 are good in those situations instead.
I know the Modern Defense is a despiced opening by most players and no grandmasters play it, but it is still a tricky opening to deal with if you don't know what you're doing. Any suggestions on dealing with the modern defense? Thanks
